Pinched nerves hurt! I never thought that there would be a pain that could bring me to my knees, but having a pinched nerve nearly did. I know others who have had pinched nerves who told me that they did not experience excruciating pain with theirs, but that was not the case with me. I knew that I needed to see a Cary chiropractor as quickly as possible because I was not going to use up all my sick days because of it. I needed to get better so I could get back to work.
I am in the construction business, so I need to use my arms and shoulders a good bit. When it hurts to even raise your arm a little bit, then that presents a definite problem for a construction worker. Thankfully, I had a lot of sick days banked up because I never get sick. I still did not want to use them all for this though. I made an appointment with a chiropractor that my neighbor sees, and I was able to see why she gave him such a high recommendation once I got into his office.
He treated me with respect, and his examination was thorough. He told me that what I had was actually not a pinched nerve but rather inflamed nerves because my muscles and spine were not where they were supposed to be. He told me that this is called subluxation, and that he would be able to get things back to where they should be. He was true to his word too. I am feeling so much better now, and I was back at work sooner than I thought I would be. I still go there at least once every few months to get adjusted, and it has made so much difference in my life.
