Many people believe that the way our world functions is quite reasonable, even though there are many problems everywhere. This is an impression given by the camouflage of hypocrisy and indifference, which tries to hide the bad aspects of human life, caring only about its pleasures.

A world where everyone is selfish and cares first of all about their own survival and their personal interests is an absurd world, where the truth is constantly distorted. All the distortions form an absurd society, without moral principals and sensitivity.

If each one presents reality according to their perspective, focusing on their own interests, this means that nobody knows what is really real and what is false.

If nobody can find the truth anywhere, this means that everything in our world is based on lies, theories and opinions, which have however an apparent sensibility that misleads. One is not able to discern false statements from real ones.

And, since everything is built over lies and distortions of the truth, this means that even what is real is not properly examined, since it belongs to a whole made of fantasies and hypothesis that negate its essence and meaning.

If you want to keep your mental health besides living in an absurd world, you have to learn how to discover the truth under all the camouflages, and discern what is really good for you, among all the suppositions and false impressions that try to convince you that they are true and you should trust them, while they will only imprison you into a labyrinth of illusions.

But how can you find the truth and escape from frustration, depression and craziness, if you live lost in a labyrinth of false conceptions, and constantly surrounded by people that only want to mislead you in order to take advantage of your ignorance?

The only real solution for you is the accurate translation of your own dreams, because the wise unconscious mind that produces them is always trying to save your mental health. This is the only resource that can show you very clearly what logic is and what is absurd, because it works independently of all human distortions.

The unconscious mind is an ancient human conscience that is always regulating the functionalism of all organisms and of the entire nature of our planet.

Once you learn the dream language and you start translating the dream images into words that your conscience can understand, you’ll be able to verify in practice how really wise the unconscious statements and observations are, because they will show you what exists behind all masks, and under all covers.

This vision may shock you in the beginning if you are too naive, but it will prevent you from making mistakes in your life, and from being a victim of other people’s bad intentions.

The truth will save you from frustrations and mental illnesses, helping you build a self-confident personality, which will always be balanced and strong.

All human beings should follow a sattvic or pure life-style that gives peace and clarity of mind. Physical purity includes pure diet, with raw or freshly cooked vegetarian food, pure air and water, proper exercise of a calming nature, as well as physical cleanliness.

Here are some ayurvedic Tips for better and health living.

1. Ayurveda is Sanskrit for “the knowledge of life or daily living.” The wisdom, depth and enduring utility of Ayurveda are a testimony to the civilization from which it came. This medical system emphasizes that humans come from nature, that we are an integral part of the universe, and that we have a responsibility to it. The balance of the universe lives within us. It is a system, which focuses on physical health, believing that it is much easier to pursue spiritual studies or contribute to the life of the community if you are whole and healthy.

2. The ancients offered ten principles about a healthy diet and how it is to be eaten. They are:

Food needs to be hot (usually cooked).

Food needs to be tasty and easy to digest.

Food needs to be eaten in the proper amounts, not too much or too little.

Food needs to be eaten on an empty stomach, after your last meal has been digested, and not before.

Foods need to work together and not contradict one another in their actions.

Foods need to be eaten in pleasant surroundings with the proper equipment for their enjoyment.

Eating should not be rushed.

Eating should not be a horrendously drawn out affair, either.

It is best to focus on your food while eating.

Only eat food which is nourishing to your particular constitution and which suits your mental and emotional temperament.

3. Food taken in the proper quantity is regarded as most important. In Ayurveda, food is medicine as well as nourishment and what one eats matters vitally.

4. Essential to the healing in this system is the idea that our health and constitution are affected by what we eat. In Ayurveda, food and our environment, are likely to stay clean,
clear and healthy. If we eat and behave in ways, which harm our bodies and the planet, knowingly or unknowingly, we are likely to suffer the consequences.

5. Herbs are used extensively in Ayurveda as a vital support to foods. By using particular herbs, one can profoundly alter the balance of the constitution. Herbs are used to stimulate digestion and enhance absorption. They are used to balance a wide variety of conditions.

6. When we enter this world at birth is known in Ayurveda as our innate constitution or prakruti. What we do with our constitution is up to us. It is the source book for our health, vitality and well-being. The five elements come together to create three basic constitutional types. They are Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. If air and ether predominate in your constitution, you are Vata in nature. If fire and water take the lead in your physical makeup, Pitta is the result. If water and earth hold ascendancy in your body at birth, Kapha is your constitution.

7. Each constitution has different needs. Meeting these needs assures balance and better chances for good health and peace of mind.

Living A Long Healthy Life

Everybody wants to live as long as possible, but many people are not prepared for the burden of living longer both financially and physically. Living longer sounds really good, but aging itself increases the risk of chronic conditions that can make life even more difficult as you age.

So, what can to do to make living longer a reality without sacrificing quality of life?

First you must realize that aging well takes planning. If you are reading this article right now you are deserve a pat on the back for being a small percentage of the population that is looking ahead, and preparing for their future. Many people are not prepared for the complications that can happen as we age, or prefer to turn a blind eye. It is important none the less to prepare for tomorrow, by living better today. Preparation is like money in the bank, so that you can live a wonderful long healthy life, and really enjoy it.

Why do you need to prepare to live longer? Wear and tear to your body; it is the expected progression of aging. Research data illustrates that a number in the range of 88% of American Citizens over 65 years of age are suffering from at least one chronic medical condition and Australia statistics states at about half their populous over 65 suffer with a long term health condition. These are the facts, and unfortunately most people accept that a chronic health condition is part of aging, but what if you could prevent many of them?

What is a chronic medical condition? A chronic medical condition, any illness or health condition that lasts longer than three month time period, and chronic illnesses as expected become more common place as one lives longer.

Chronic or long term health conditions do not just happen overnight. They are usually a result of other extrinsic factors, and can be traced to alcohol use, tobacco use, lack of exercise, unhealthy diet choices, obesity, neglecting oral care, and not getting enough sleep- these are just few of the major contributors that lead to chronic diseases that can include:

Chronic Medical Conditions

* Diabetes- Blindness, loss of limbs, and circulatory problems.

How To Live A Longer and Healthier Life

First and foremost you must respect your own body. Respect comes in many forms:

1. Eating Properly

If you are familiar with Hippocrates you may have read the quote “Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food”.

2. Maintain an Ideal Weight

Maintaining your ideal weight is very important for as you pile on the pounds you are much more apt to develop type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and triglycerides, coronary artery disease (CAD), high blood pressure, stroke, and sleep apnea, among other conditions.

Caloric restriction has been touted by some as the road to the fountain of youth: One professor of pathology at the University of Michigan, Richard Miller, M.D., Ph.D., has spent the last 20 years researching the ways in which dietary and genetic changes can slow the aging process. His studies have shown that mice, rats, and monkeys that have undergone severe caloric restriction demonstrate all kinds of mental and physical benefits such as better mental function, less joint disease, and even fewer cases of cataracts.

3. Stop Smoking

Smoking affects every major organ in your body. Giving up the habit or never starting it will increase your chances of living longer, and prevent diseases such as cancer, lung diseases, and heart problems.

4. Remain Active

Move it or lose it. Staying active by walking, riding a bike, bowling, gardening, light weight lifting, or using resistance bands which are my favorite little home gym for any age group or fitness level

5. Getting Enough Sleep

A survey done by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke showed that at least 40 million Americans suffer from chronic, long-term sleep disorders. The effects of sleep deprivation on the body can include; the development of diabetes according to a 2006 study. The study showed that lack of sleep is linked with deterioration in blood glucose control in type 2 diabetics.
Getting 5 hours or less of sleep a night has been connected to weight gain, poor memory, lower concentration, and higher incidence of heart disease (coronary artery calcification).

6. Wear Sunscreen Every Day

UV rays not only age your skin and cause wrinkling, but are the cause of a very dangerous and deadly form of cancer called melanoma.

7. Maintain Proper Oral Health – Floss Daily

Studies have proven that bad oral hygiene goes beyond dental carries and gum disease; it can contribute to heart disease, osteoporosis, lung problems, and a very strong link to diabetes.

8. Learn to De-stress Your Life

A little stress is actually good for you, as it acts as a little built in alarm for your brain, but stress becomes very unhealthy if it goes on for long periods, and can affect your health increasing your risks of developing; heart disease, high blood sugar, high cholesterol, and raises your risk of depression.

Learn to de-stress via; Meditation, listening to music, writing in a diary, having a hobby, and learn to visualize and think positively.

9. Take Anti Oxidant Supplements

Our modern diets are killing us. We have progressed over thousands of years of occasionally restricting our calories and eating antioxidant rich diet to, in the past century, to constantly eating highly processed foods with low antioxidant levels. What this ultimately means is that we are experiencing more free radicals and more disease than ever before.

Everyone should take one mulit-vitamin daily especially if they are eating fast food during the week. Also, speaking of supplements, you have probably heard by now a supplement called Resveratrol. It offers the amazing health benefits of red vine, and is one of the most powerful antioxidants that was discovered in red wine or actually the skin of a certain grape that is made into red wine.

The health benefits that are being studied are pretty spectacular: cancer prevention and longevity are two that are amazing scientists and catapulting more research. The studies are proving that this powerful anti aging antioxidant can protect your heart, help prevent strokes, lower cholesterol, and much, much more. You can learn more about this antioxidant supplement and all the amazing health benefits here at Resveratrol Pills.

Living a healthy lifestyle is important and will ultimately prevent acute and chronic diseases. This is quiet easy to achieve as you need not have to take all kinds of supplements or spend hours working out at a gym. All it takes is some independent thinking such as separating the truth from non truth on current literature and advice.

You cannot change your lifestyle over night and expect a miracle the following day. This is something you have to do by taking small steps at a time and setting goals for yourself. Once you have achieved one goal, then move onto the next goal and so you go and eventually living a healthy lifestyle will become second nature to you.

A good place to begin and one of the most important factors is eating correctly. Make sure you are following a well balanced diet that contains loads of fruit and fresh vegetables, whole grains and that you are getting the required amount of vitamins and minerals daily. Avoid gaining weight try and maintain your ideal weight. Don’t eat junk food or drink fizzy drinks as these are fat packers. If you are unsure about what foods to eat and how much to eat there are excellent books as well as loads of info on the net.

Another very important way to live a healthy lifestyle is doing daily exercises. This does not mean that you must run out and join a health club, all you have to do is go for long walks, get out and about as physical exercise is not every ones cup of tea. A colon cleanse is also excellent as this type of cleansing eliminates all the toxic waste which makes one feel sluggish.

Everyday modern living suits most people and is also convenient, but detrimental to our health as we eat far too many processed foods and not enough healthy foods. Due to this factor people around the world are fast developing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and various other diseases.

Parents should teach their children from an early age to live a healthy lifestyle and these children will become well balanced healthy kids. Not only will they be healthy in body, but they will also have healthy minds as medical science has proved this time and again. Does it not make 100% sense to rather live a lifestyle of health and happiness as opposed to an unhealthy life and be sickly and miserable?

Did you read the latest diet trend in Cosmo? Try the new exercise recommendation from Men’s Health? No?!?!?! Well then pat yourself on the back and walk proudly through the streets. You are among the few that still follows their gut rather than being led like a horse with a carrot dangling in front of its eyes. As an animal, the human organism and its ancestors were gifted with survival instincts that allowed it to evolve and survive for millions without the need of food and pharmaceutical companies telling it how to live.

Yet, our intuition and common sense seem to have taken a backseat to profit motivated marketing (in reality it’s much worse than just mere marketing). This is only to the detriment of our own species. Quite frankly, we are becoming stupider, fatter, slower, weaker, and literally destroying ourselves with everyday decisions. I apologize for the severity of the previous statement, but sometimes it’s the only way convey a piece of information accurately. The common sense that we have lost during our recent history may have actually been more intuitive than any of the scientific studies they force fed down our throats. As is true in most cases, common sense may guide us back to an improved and optimal quality of life.

Common Sense Fitness

Instead of arguing methodologies and philosophies of different fitness schools of thought (discussing fitness is like discussing religion nowadays) trying to prove one’s superiority over the others, let’s simply discuss the basic requirements for a human to live a life full of movement. In order of importance, here are the four factors that must be addressed

The first and most important areas to address with any fitness program are ensuring the participant has proper static posture and the appropriate movement patterns and flexibility to allow for proper dynamic posture (movement). If these crucial steps are neglected and the program simply starts with “crazy workouts”, then it’s not a matter of if, but when, an injury will occur. The first and most important rule in common sense training is placing function ahead of fitness. The extent of corrective work that an individual should complete can be determined by appropriate and in-depth assessments. Obviously, a fitness professional comes in quite handy for this.

Strength is the next most important attribute on our requirements for common sense fitness. Its importance lays in the fact that the general population, as a whole, has been steadily becoming weaker and weaker. Our work, nutrition, hormone levels, stressors, environments, and lifestyles have all contributed to this tragic decline in human strength. Unfortunately, it is also societal pressures and stigmas that have killed our appreciation for strength. Pursuing strength gains and muscle gains are considered synonymous with steroid use and aggressiveness. Despite this undeserving treatment, strength cannot be understated. If you cannot do a pull up with your own body weight, twenty pushups, or squat and dead lift even your own bodyweight, you probably lack the appropriate strength needed for a life full of movement and function.

As important as strength, and sometimes considered more important, the next component of common sense fitness is power training. The beauty of training for power is that it also translates to improvements in strength, speed, agility, reaction, and even endurance. Most people ignore this aspect of their fitness following the premise that only athletes need to train to be powerful. So called normal people should remember that the power training that athletes do is the same power training that you will need to prevent falls when you are older, maintain bone density, as well as ensuring proper balance and coordination in the event of accidental slips, falls, or losses of balance.

Endurance is the last component to be addressed, and in the world of common sense training, it comes to us with a different meaning and the traditional views that aerobic endurance is king. Especially for the general population, anaerobic conditioning and training is far superior to traditional aerobic methods. It terms of hormone optimization, weight management, and even cardiovascular health, aerobic training pales in comparison to anaerobic training.

As long as your chosen modality addresses these issues in a thoughtful manner, then it will be common sense that is driving your fitness lifestyle. The only tough part is determining and understanding when these areas are actually being addressing effectively.

Common Sense Nutrition

Eat real food, not food substitutes. If it has an ingredient list, it’s probably not food. If it’s packaged, it’s probably not food. If it makes health claims or needs advertising campaigns, it’s probably not food. Oh, and go for organic and local choices.

Common Sense Medicine

Western medicine was only created to battle Western diseases, which only came into existence with Western lifestyles. Yet Western methodologies are typically symptom oriented and quite often neglect to find underlying problems. Even more disturbing is that most Western solutions last a lifetime. That does not see like a cure to me. It seems more like a life sentence. Common sense agrees with me. In our not so distance past, it was our herbs, foods, and water that served as our medicine. Refocusing ourselves to all aspects of the way we live is the best health insurance plan available. Every meal, workout, or choice made with common sense is invigorating medicine for the mind, body, and soul.

Common Sense Living

TiVo may have been a divine gift from the Gods, so please abuse it to its maximum potential and fast forward through mindless advertising. The more you allow the system (a ridiculously absurd system at that) to dictate everyday life decisions, the more you step into mental captivity. As hard as you think the step into common sense living is, it will only be that much harder the longer you wait. The faster you change your world, the faster and easier the transition will be into a new lifestyle. After that, you will find it very difficult to go back to old destructive ways.
